Luke & Maddie // A Maternity Session under the Cherry Blossoms

This is one of my favorite times of year! Blossom season is short, but it is so gorgeous and I can never get enough of photographing under these beauties!

This session was actually from last blossom season, but it needed it’s own spot of the blog 🙂 There’s something about photographing maternity sessions in the spring when everything starts to bloom that just feels fitting – the new life of spring and the new life growing in the womb. Luke and Maddie are dear friends and it was such an honor to photograph this season of their life. At this point, about a year later now, they are actually expecting their second!

I’m excited to share these and excited for the upcoming Cherry Blossom sessions in just a couple weeks from now. We are north of D.C where they are just beginning to bloom and where there’s a lot less people, so it’s really the perfect location. Can’t wait!
